1st Day of Social Christmas: Twitter Secret Santa

Looking to send some anonymous joy this holiday season? Than the Great Twitter Secret Santa might be for you. Just sign-up by December 13!

This seasonal website application matches you with someone you already follow on Twitter and then the app exchanges information for you on December 14 to exchange real gifts.

This site is simple enough, a quick auth screen from Twitter and then a short form. The one unnerving piece is the address exchange. There is something a little creepy about putting your mailing address in a form around the holidays. I included my email address to get around this, we’ll see if my secret santa reaches out to me to get my address.

This site has a mean Terms of Service with lots of legal about getting the developers out of any liability. Totally understandable with the exchange of this level of personal information.

You can also follow all the fun on Twitter at @TG_SecretSanta.  Send some holiday cheer to the developers too @jderoner, @theobservation, @reeegan.
